Kiefer William Frederick Dempsey George Rufus Sutherland (born 21 December 1966) is a Canadian actor, producer and director, best known for his portrayal of Jack Bauer on the Fox thriller drama series 24 for which he has won an Emmy Award (receiving 5 other nominations), a Golden Globe award (receiving 4 other nominations), two Screen Actors Guild Awards (receiving 3 other nominations) and two Satellite Awards. He is the son of Canadian actors Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas.
