Raymond Wallace “Ray” Bolger (January 10, 1904 – January 15, 1987) was an American entertainer of stage and screen, best known for his portrayal of the Scarecrow and Kansas farmworker Hunk in The Wizard of Oz.

AP - Technicolor, the color-movie pioneer synonymous with Hollywood glamour, is donating filmmaking artifacts to George Eastman House to round out the New York museum's trove of original reels of movie classics such as "Gone with the Wind" and "The Wizard of Oz."
